The Garden Club: Peas & Tepees!

On Wednesday 3rd May, The Garden Club made tepees from garden canes, and planted out the pea and mangetout seedlings that we started with on our first garden gathering.

First we built the tepee! Six sticks standing strong! Tied together at the tips!

Tie twine tightly to the tepee from the base to the top! Like a web.

Dig planting holes at the base of each tepee stick and plant the pea and mangetout seedlings, biodegradable pots and all.

Make sure the seedlings are settled and secure in the soil. Now water them!

Job well done! Now we will care for them and watch them grow!
