This is one of the three new ovens provided to the pupils by the Parents’ Council

We will make very good use of them.

Some of us have baked fairy cakes and the oven works really well. The little cakes were delicious!

3rd Class : Studying the Vikings

In Class we are learning about the Vikings!

We have been researching for information on the internet and in books ๐Ÿ“š.

Also we have been painting and colouring Viking ships and Viking people.

We will put our information and pictures into projects.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome to our cooking session….

Last week we made SCOTCH PANCAKES!

This is our recipe

110g flour

1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

1 egg

1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

1 tablespoon of golden syrup

150ml milk

Serve with: honey and fresh fruit and jam! Delicious ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Here we go!

Let’s get started!

Weigh the flour and add bicarbonate of soda.

In a bowl, mix wet ingredients

Blending the egg, oil, syrup & milk.

Mix the wet & dry ingredients

Cook the pancakes on the pan

They were delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ ๐Ÿฅž๐Ÿฅž๐Ÿฅ˜
