Easter Bunny Hunt

Yesterday the annual Easter Bunny Hunt took place . The bunny hunt is organised by the Active School Committee.  Each class had to find all the bunnies  that were hidden around the school grounds . Each bunny had a letter which the children used to unscramble the word . Once all the letters were unscrambled the Easter words spelt out ‘Cadbury Easter Eggs’ .  There were active activities along the way which the children had to complete .Some of the active activities  included squats, jumping jacks, jogging on the spot . All the children had great fun!

Happy Easter to Everyone!

Cumann Na mBunscol 2024 (Cross Country)

Boys and girls from 5th and 6th class competed at Rathcoffey GAA for the annual Cumann Na mBunscol cross country competition on the 21st of March.

There were over 300 competitors in the races, and despite tough conditions our teams did great.

Individually Noah O’Brien came in 2nd place and right behind him was Tola Gahan in 4th. The boys team came 2nd overall.

In the girls race Eibhlin Humphreys came 2nd and Leah Angland came 4th, and overall the girls team came in 4th place.

Congratulations to all the 5th and 6th class girls and boys who competed in the 2 races and a big thanks to our coaches Derek McConnon, Ms.Stapleton and Ms.Shortall.
