U-11 Ladies Football Final 19th October 2017 Score -> 6 goals and 2 points Sallins 0 goals and 2 points Athy.

On Thursday the 19th of October 2017 22 girls went to Moorefield to play in the final against Athy. We left the school at 12:30 so we would be at Moorefield for 1:00. Our match started at 2:00. We started the match and it was raining and it was windy. The first half had started and the forwards and midfields did a lot of the work. By half time we were winning by some goals and some points.

We started the second half it was still raining. This time Athy was stronger they scored two points in the first two minutes. So this half the backs and the goalie had to do a lot of work. In the second half we had scored lots of goals and points. After 20 minutes the referee had blown the whistle.

In the end the score was 6-2 Sallins and 0-2 Athy. Sallins had won, we got our photo taken and May our goalie and captain gave a speech.

The next Wednesday we got dominos pizza and Mr. Lanigan gave our medals out to us. On the day we were given no homework.
