Cross Country – History in the Making!

on May 3, 2017

Our cross country teams made school history at the County Kildare Cross Country Championship on 6th April when they took home their first ever team medals at this event.

The boys race was first and two teams represented the school against over 150 boys from across the county. They all ran a fantastic race. The boys ‘A’ team came first overall and got our first ever cup in this event.

The girls race was up next and they ran against over 150 girls in a very competitive race. They did great as well with the girls ‘A’ team coming in second place overall. 3 of our girls even came in the top ten!

Well done to all of the boys and girls who took part, as well as those who were injured and who trained for the event but weren’t there on the day. St. Laurence’s Abú!
