Ginger Biscuits: Here is the recipe!

Welcome back!

The recipe

350g flour

1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

2 tsp ground ginger

115 g butter

175 g light brown sugar

4 tbsp golden syrup

1 egg, beaten

METHOD

Preheat the oven to 190 C

Place the flour, bicarbonate of soda, and ginger into a bowl.

Add the butter and mix with an Electric mixer until it looks like breadcrumbs. Stir in the sugar,add the syrup and beaten egg and mix to  form a smooth dough

Using your hands to bring the mixture together and knead  it lightly.

roll out the dough and cut out the cookies.

bake the biscuits  in the oven  for 10-12 minutes
